The Vanish Carbon 2 features a full-length carbon fiber plate, even more lightweight midsole foam for a soft feel, and improved flexibility. We built it to perform by increasing the stack height from 33mm to 36mm, with Altra EGO PRO™ midsole foam that’s 32% lighter in weight. This updated foam is more pliable, for added cushion and response. An updated full-length carbon fiber plate delivers a 14% increase in asymmetry, allowing for a more natural (and faster) stride.

This design, combined with additional flex grooves in the outsole gives you 75% improved flexibility. With a roomy toe box with space for your toes to move freely, snug midfoot, and zero drop, you can move the way you were designed to. Who said carbon-plated shoes have to be bad for your gait?

SIZING TIPS

  • Altras usually run true to size (i.e. if you usually wear a size 10 running shoe, you'll likely be a size 10 in these). 
  • All Altras have a wider toe box than other brands on the market. The width of the toe box does not affect the sizing - you can still order your regular size and enjoy extra toe space!
