Torin 3.5 Knit- Mens

The Torin series has traditionally been Altra's top selling road shoe. And why wouldn't it be? It's got a dosage of cushioning that most runners are familiar with, and its got that foot shape Toe-Box that makes them unique, super comfy and just down right practical!

This new version takes things to another level with the knit upper. It's sleek, seamless and comfortable. The shoe has a nice lock down thanks to the A-Strap support system, this helps keep your foot nice and secure. You won't find any difference to the midsole/outsole combination, which is a good thing if you really enjoyed the previous Torin 3.0 (You more than likely did!). Thanks to the updates though you will find this shoe a little less bulky and faster on the foot.

Thus far our testers have completed a couple of test runs and here is what they had to say:

Kobus: I was a big fan of the previous versions of Torin, and was super excited about the Knit upper. Out the box I did a 20km training run, my intention was to take it nice and slow, but the shoe did feel fast to me. Maybe it's just the feeling of having a new shoe on your feet, but I felt smooth in my transition and fast out the blocks!

Ryan: I had only ever run in the Escalante and so I was eager to try something a little more cushioned on the longer runs. I must say I really enjoyed the firmness of this shoe. The Escalante is a very soft shoe, and to have something firmer like the Torin on a longer, certainly helped propel me forward. I'll still be using my Escalante on the shorter speed work outs, but the Torin is certainly a great marathon shoe option.
